Do You See What We See?

At MTMS, one of the lab stations allows music students to compose their own selections. Sometimes this results in some hilarious song titles, and definitely original scores. Listed are several that reached above and beyond the “random” or “untitled” to stand out from the rest. We appreciate every composition, and thank you for making us giggle. Two songs are linked to listen to, and one score is in PDF because you just have to read it. Please, share our joy in these songs.

MTMS Virtual Halloween Recital 2020 – YouTube

Because we are passionate about music performance at Michelle Tuesday Music School, we offer plenty of opportunities for our students enrolled in music lessons to demonstrate what they’ve learned. MTMS holds a variety of recitals, parties, and community events throughout the year that offer opportunities for students to perform. MTMS does not charge additional fees to participate in performance opportunities.

BOGO on Samplers!

From now through the end of 2020 buy one and get one on our 4-week lesson samplers. This special is one you’re not going to want to miss.

Check the “Enrolling” sidebar on your desktop or at the bottom of the screen on your mobile device. Second sampler may be used by a second family member or to try a different instrument. This must be scheduled by a receptionist – but the four lesson trial pack is a wonderful opportunity for an early Christmas gift or giving someone a purpose to staying inside during the cold weather.

We can’t wait to see you in December!

Music History for November and December

The focus for music history over the next six weeks will be music from the 70s. Music videos from the time period are available to watch as well as questions to answer with a lab attendant or parents (or even just to ponder on their own). Come learn about this time period in music where Funk, Soul, R&B, Hard Rock, Soft Rock, Pop, and Disco – and even Hip Hop – made their way into our lives.
