We are just so pleased by the progress our granddaughter is making, and how much talent she has. She is way beyond what we expected at both piano and voice. Thank you for working with her, and please keep up the excellent work. – Tom & Beth

Our Story

In 2010, Michelle Tuesday, a local Columbus-area musician, teacher and worship leader, had a vision. She imagined a community music school that put music and people first – students, clients, employees, neighbors – and where artists would thrive. As she shared her idea with family and friends, an amazing thing happened: They all rallied in support of the vision.

With the help of that amazing support network, Michelle Tuesday Music School launched in Gahanna, Ohio in 2010. Along with Michelle Tuesday and “the Weakends” (as her bandmates on bass and drums liked to call themselves), student rock bands Oblivion Fire and Sapphire Blaze performed at the Grand Opening.

MTMS had many “firsts” that year: Our first clients and students; our first community performance event, the Mifflin Township Fire Department Open House; our first Halloween party, which quickly became and remained our most popular annual recital performance event; our first acting, songwriting, and beginner piano and guitar classes; and our first official Creekside event entertaining and supporting our Gahanna neighbors at the Gahanna Holiday Lights Celebration.
