Daniel Jordan is a flutist and teacher in the Columbus area. He was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended Oberlin Conservatory, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Flute Performance. In 2022, he performed with the Oberlin Orchestra in the United Nations Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall. Daniel considers teaching to be a musician’s most important duty and has been teaching consistently from the age of 17. At Oberlin he was selected by the music faculty as a peer tutor in music theory. Outside of music, Daniel loves cooking, hiking, and movies.
