Walt grew up in a musical family and has been surrounded by music of all kinds from a very early age. He started piano when he was six, played trombone in his schools’ bands and taught himself guitar and bass while in high school. Walt has been playing guitar, bass and trombone in the Columbus area for many years in local bands, and also for many musicals and variety shows. He has been teaching private music lessons since 2003, and his experience spans many genres including: rock and roll, jazz, show tunes and classical.
