Steve Wald has been playing guitar, bass guitar and harmonica professionally for 25 years. He played bass and harmonica for the Columbus area band “”Soul Satyr””. In October of 2005 Soul Satyr placed 2nd in the Columbus Blues Alliance “”Blues Challenge””, a contest among the best blues bands in the area for best live performance. The band placed first in 2011 and so they represented Columbus in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in February 2012. In June of 2011 Steve played bass for the international blues stars Super Chikan and Watermelon Slim at the Gahanna Creedside Blues and Jazz festival.
