Graduation Party and Luau 2013

Michelle Tuesday Music School’s third annual Graduation Party took on a luau theme this year, thanks to the innovative party planning of Assistant Manager Zach Garster and the hard work of the best staff of employees in Central Ohio.

The event involved the usual spectacular music student performances, featuring students enrolled in music lessons and ongoing music classes at MTMS. This year, we also enjoyed an incredible spread of delicious homemade dishes, photos taken in the Hawaiian couple faceless stand-in, and a limbo competition after every half-hour set of student performances, with fabulous beach-themed prizes for the winning students. The student music performance segment also saw the debut of MTMS’ newest youth rock band, The Bottom Line, starring Trinity on vocals, Ryan on guitar, Bridget on drums, and instructor Jeff Laser sitting in for Kyle on the electric bass, performing “I Knew You Were Trouble” by Taylor Swift. Our audience also had the pleasure of enjoying the first ever joint performance between our Flute Choir and Advanced Flute Choir, under the direction of Dr. Angela Heck Mueller.

Music lessons have obviously paid off for our fantastic young Gahanna area performers. Check out photos from Michelle Tuesday’s 2013 Graduation Party, below.
