Dr. Angela Heck Mueller enjoys an active career as an educator, solo flutist, orchestral and chamber musician, and collaborative artist in Columbus, Ohio. At Michelle Tuesday Music School (MTMS) in Gahanna, Ohio, her students range from beginners through adult amateurs and have won state and regional honors. Under her leadership, the MTMS Flute Choirs have performed at the Central Ohio Flute Association’s Annual Flute Festival, for the Columbus MetroParks, the Gahanna Holiday Lights Festival, and at the Creekside Jazz & Blues Festival. As Site Manager of MTMS Gahanna Campus, she oversees the routine operation and ongoing improvement of the campus and directly supervises other music instructors, assistant managers, and staff. Dr. Heck Mueller encourages student retention and growth and maintains the company’s culture by striving to achieve its mission and vision.

Dr. Heck Mueller also teaches at Ohio Dominican University and Music & Arts. As an orchestral musician, Dr. Heck Mueller serves as third flutist with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and is a member of Divertimento Flute Quartet. Dr. Heck Mueller received Bachelor of Music degrees cum laude from Ohio University in Flute Performance and Music Education, a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Flute Performance from the University of Oklahoma. Her teachers include Dr. Valerie Watts, Dr. John Bailey, Alison Brown Sincoff, and Catherine Keener Abner.
